A little about Lisa - I graduated from NYU in 2003. After working in corporate, I couldn’t help but dream of having a creative and honest work life which landed me in beauty school, a life-long interest of mine. I attended the Carsten-Aveda Institute in Manhattan and worked a rigorous apprentice program under Sassoon, TiGi, Devachan, Aveda, and Bumble and Bumble stylists, quickly gaining magazine publications and doing hair with top stylists from around the world. Since moving upstate, I’ve become an educator for Surface Hair, doing stage work at hair shows and training licensed hairstylists. I also became a Goldwell Color Specialist which requires hours of classes and a formal evaluation. I love learning and using my skills to bring joy and beauty to all of my guests. I’m so proud to be co-owner of The Moxie on Maple with Jennifer Marshall.
